The core of Quill

Everything the work needs.
All in one place.

Plan it, talk it through, and move it forward—with your team and a little help from Quill.

Tasks

A clear next step.

Give work an owner, a due date, and the context to get it done. Track dependencies and ask teammates for the input you need.

Projects

Everyone on the same page.

Keep related tasks together. See who owns what and how the pieces connect, without piecing together another status update.

Quill Agent

An extra pair of hands.

Hand off research, meeting prep, or a project update. Quill works across your connected tools and brings decisions back to you.

Mail

Room in your inbox.

Read and organize Gmail in Quill. Separate conversations from receipts and reminders, or turn an email into a task with its source attached.

Scribe

Good conversations. Clear next steps.

Bring notes, decisions, and transcripts together. Turn action items into tasks with an owner, so the next step survives the meeting.

Automations

Give repeat work a routine.

Schedule a morning brief or start a workflow from a supported app event. Each run keeps its history, and approvals still come back to you.

A little less explaining. A little more doing.

See how work moves in Quill.

Room for the work you care about

Make the handoff

Give it an outcome.
Let it work out the steps.

“Pull together the launch decisions and prepare an update for Jordan.” Quill uses the task and your connections to plan an approach. You choose when it starts.

The request, context, and result stay with the task. Whoever owns it can see where the work stands.

Works where you work

The context is there. Bring it together.

Connect the tools your work lives in. Quill can find a discussion, read a project page, and prepare the next step with the context attached. Available actions depend on your connections and permissions.

Put the repeat work on a schedule

A fresh start.
Every morning.

Ask for a brief of your open tasks and upcoming meetings, every weekday at 8:30. Quill can run on a schedule or a supported app event, keeping each result in its history.

Your automations use your connections and stay private to you. Actions that need approval still come back to you.

An example of work you can automate

Put Quill to work

Less work around the work.

From the first conversation to the everyday follow-through.

Mail 01

Keep the conversation in view.

Read and organize Gmail inside Quill. Keep the original conversation close when it’s time to take the next step.

Tasks 02

A next step, in your own words.

Write what needs doing. Quill picks up the due date as you type, with the owner and project right beside it.

Automations 03

Give repeat work a time and place.

Your work. Your call.

A helping hand.
You keep the reins.

Security & approvals

You decide what goes out.

Consequential actions pause for approval. Review the proposed action in context before Quill continues.

Privacy & access

Shared work. Personal boundaries.

Your mailbox and automations stay private to you. Projects and tasks follow their access settings, and connections run with your permissions.

A few things to know

Before you
bring Quill in.

What is Quill?

Quill is a workspace for your team’s tasks, projects, mail, meetings, and automations, with an AI agent that can work across connected tools. Plan work with your teammates and bring Quill into a task when you want help carrying it out.

What should I give Quill first?

Start with a specific outcome: prepare a meeting brief, gather a project’s open decisions, or draft a customer update. On a planned task, the Quill tab explains what it can do with your available connections before you start.

Will Quill send things without asking?

Consequential actions, such as sending an email or Slack message, pause for your approval. Quill shows the proposed action before continuing. Reading connected information and preparing reversible drafts can happen as part of the work.

Can my team see my email?

Joining a workspace does not give teammates access to your mailbox. Mail and automations stay private to their owner. Shared tasks and projects follow their membership and access settings.

Do I need to move out of Gmail?

No. Quill connects to your existing Gmail account and adds its own organization. Reading or archiving mail in Quill does not change your Gmail labels.

What is Scribe?

Scribe is Quill’s home for meeting notes, summaries, transcripts, and action items. Action items can become assigned tasks. Recording requires Quill Desktop; recording availability is part of early-access onboarding.
